Any T-Bolt trips planned this year?  Anybody seen any TRs come from Greylock yet?  I still need to get over there to check it off my ToDo list.

The conditions weren't the best last time I checked, but Feb I plan on hitting the bolt often.
I'll post the dates when I know of them.

I have been emailing the T-bolt cats being annoying and asking about conditions, not in yet but they might have gotten some good now with
this weekends storm. I will email them again and be even more annoying. I'm very excited to tour I have been staring at my new F3's for too long. Here is a link to a web-cam of the hill.

Yep, I'm all about the Bolt too.  Please give a call or a PM when there is a game plan, as I hope to join in the fun.

Surf, You will be thrilled to knew I just saw a report of skiing on T-Bolt. Jan 4th and 9th they put up trail condition reports which are looking hopeful.
Right now the upper to lower middle is fully covered with below the bridge to the cars showing some rocks but still ski-able without ski damage. Or
so they say!!!!!!

Figured Surf might want to see that Greylock is filling in nicely. Although it won't get much if anything from the storm, it's still looking real good.
Current Conditions (well not current but close enough) - January 27, 2010  - by R. Adamczyk and C. Sidway
Summit to Big Bend: fine
Big Bend: shot
Steps: fine in some places, undermined and
patchy in others
Needle's Eye: non-existant
Needle's Eye to Big Schuss: good
Big Schuss: patchy
Bridge to finish: not too bad, still skiable with
a couple exposed rocks
A small storm will make the trail just fine
again.  There is now a great base that is real
hard packed and pretty thick where it exists.
Six inches and no one will remember the rain.  *** I looked though and NO new snow in the forecast for a while it looks like  Angry  ***

Here is todays webcam shot and you can see there is a fair amount of snow on that hill. Enjoy!

Maybe we can do a little BCA Feb.27th Greylock day. I hear they are giving out oversizes BCA Foam cowboy hats that day.
I will put it up on the fridge calendar, so the wife knows.

That pic is deceiving.  There is indeed a fair amount of snow on the mountain.  But the Thunderbolt is really sketchy right now.  There has been no new snow since the Jan. 27th update.  There are major portions of the trail exposed down to the rock and grass.

I was just telling my wife that story a couple nights ago, so funny it's classic. Although you are laughing now punk with all that snow out there.

That pic is deceiving.
Schuss, Next time we journey there we will have to look ya up and make some turns. Give us a heads up when the trail is slide worthy.

Hoping for a snow event on Wednesday.  When the Bolt is back in we will definitely look forward to hooking up and skiing together!
